Please read these terms carefully before using our services.
Hybrid Counselling provides online counselling and psychotherapy services. Sessions are conducted via secure video. This is a therapeutic service and is not a crisis or emergency service.
If you are in immediate danger, please contact 999. If you need urgent emotional support, contact the Samaritans on 116 123 (free, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week).
Please provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session.
Late cancellations (less than 48 hours' notice) may be charged at the full session rate. Missed sessions without notice will be charged at the full rate.
Emergencies and unexpected circumstances will always be handled with compassion and flexibility. If something comes up, please get in touch as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Everything discussed in sessions is confidential, in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
There are limited exceptions where confidentiality may need to be broken:
These exceptions will always be discussed with you wherever possible. The limits of confidentiality will be explained fully at the start of our work together.
Online therapy requires a stable internet connection and a private space where you will not be disturbed. While online therapy has been shown to be highly effective, it may not be suitable for everyone.
If during our work together it becomes clear that a different type of support would be more appropriate, I will discuss this with you openly and, where possible, help you find a suitable alternative.
I am a BACP accredited counsellor and adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. I receive regular clinical supervision and engage in ongoing professional development to ensure the highest standard of care.
